Accessorize your Back to School Look at T.J. Maxx & Marshalls

As if the awards, the beauty treatments and the fab food and beverages were not enough... We'll be conducting Ambush Accessory Makeovers during the party. You never know - you may be selected as the recipient of an instant whole new look! We've got great stuff to dress you up in - designer handbags, gorgeous jewelry and designer shades.

To outfit our ambushees, we skipped the mall and department stores and headed over to T.J. Maxx and Marshalls where our dollars went much further. At both stores, you’ll find the same on-trend, in-season, quality merchandise as department and specialty stores, but for much less. In fact, if you compare price tags, you’ll see that T.J.Maxx and Marshalls prices are up to 60% less for the same items I've seen at those other, more expensive stores!

For those of you who can't make it to the SocialLuxe Lounge and a chance at an Ambush Accessory Makeover, we've got another treat. Follow the SocialLuxe Twitter account during the party and you could win one of 8 $100 gift cards to go back to school shopping, or shopping for your own accessories.

Heading back-to-school means putting your best fashion foot forward for my girls. I let them have my flip cam to browse for back to school looks while I put together the ensembles for our party. They had a blast, as you can see! But I was happy to see that most of the stuff they were picking out was so inexpensive! For me, I worry about how much this back-to-school shopping season will cost me. The good news is shopping at off-price retailers like T.J. Maxx andMarshalls give me a one-stop shop for all of their back-to-school needs.

One more great thing about T.J. Maxx and Marshalls and back to school shopping? The company is giving back. Just by shopping at T.J. Maxx this season, you can help send more than 900 kids back-to-school with the basics they need. Beginning August 3rd, special edition reusable shopping bags will be available for purchase at T.J. Maxx for just $0.99. For each bag purchased, T.J. Maxx is donating one basic item, such as socks, underwear and backpacks, to Save The Children U.S. programs

Incidentally, hot trends for the girls to pick-out are preppy, rocker and grunge styles; items like bomber jackets, skinny jeans, tie-die, torn denim, graphic tees, bests, leggings, ballet flats, moccasins, detailed pumps, wide belts, headbands and anything plaid. My girls did not need to read thisthough - you can see what they picked out. Don't forget to watch the Live Stream of the party and follow @socialluxe on twitter to see what we picked out for YOU!

Note: Much thanks too to Lena Lotsey, of The Cheeky Lotus, who is one of our VIPs and Cheeseburgher party hostess who spent four hours helping me pull together these looks. We're waiting to be cast in our own new reality show!
