BlogLuxe Rules

Nominations are open from June 14 - June 21. All approved nominations will be posted on the SocialLuxe Lounge website for voting on June 28. Voting will run through July 11 and the winners will be announced August 5 at the Avery SocialLuxe Lounge.

Nomination Rules:

• You may nominate your own blog or other blogs you love.
• You may nominate as many blogs as you wish, for any category, however they must be topical to the category.
• Blogs may be nominated for more than one category but SocialLuxe Lounge moderators reserve the right to remove or reassign inappropriate, off topic, duplicate or spam nominations.
• SocialLuxe Lounge will review all nominations for approval. If the blog does not fit the category or the form was not filled out correctly, it will not be approved.

Voting and Awards Rules:

• You may vote once per day, per person, for your favorite blog in each category.
• Bloggers need not be present at the Avery SocialLuxe Lounge on August 5, 2010 to accept an award*, although we sure hope you will get to be there!
• We will announce the 5 finalists in each category based on final number of votes on the SocialLuxe Lounge website prior to the event on August 5.
• Final winner for "Avery's Best Organizational Blog" category will be chosen by our sponsors at Avery.
• All other category winners (2 per category) with be chosen by a VIP Blogger Panel, via secret ballot. Members of SocialLuxe Lounge will not participate in voting in the final round.
• BlogLuxe award winners will be notified privately prior to August 5. Public announcement of the winners and presentation of the awards will take place at the Avery SocialLuxe Lounge event on August 5 and winners will be posted to the website on August 6.
• Any nominee may be removed from the contest if, as judged by the administrators of the BlogLuxe Awards, it is determined that there are or have been attempts to  submit automated votes, or use e-mail addresses not under the control and ownership of the voter, or any other attempt to circumvent the spirit of the contest.

* Actual BlogLuxe award has no cash value. The goal of the BlogLuxe awards is to encourage recognition amongst peers.
